Thankfully, it was an excellent decision. I had heard about Kotor Montenegro, specifically Kotor Old Town, and already fell in love with visions of its ancient charm. My solution… we decided to explore Montenegro and Slovenia. Now the question became – Where should we go? I didn’t want to go a country that I had been before or would be drowning in summer tourists. We would only have a week and there was going to be four of us – me and my husband, my adult and 13 year old daughters.
